Submitting News and Events

Inside SU—the gathering place and information source for Syracuse University students, faculty and staff—offers several online options for promoting news and events. To submit news, announcements or calendar items, please follow the instructions below:

• If you would like to submit an Announcement, use the Announcements submission form.
• If you would like to post an event to the SU Events Calendar, use the SU Events Calendar submission form. Descriptions may be edited for length.
• For Newsmakers—highlighting the professional and civic achievements of SU faculty, staff and students—send an email to Roxanna Carpenter at rocarpen@syr.edu.
• To submit items for SU in the News, email rocarpen@syr.edu.
• To suggest a video to feature in the Video Showcase, email jetanui@syr.edu.

If you would like to speak to someone about promoting a particular project (strategizing, developing a news story, approaching media outlets, etc.), refer to the News Contacts page for a University-wide directory of communications officers and then contact the individual identified for your area, or contact the Office of News Services at sunews@syr.edu.
