Next USGBC Students group meeting is Feb. 27
The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Students group at Syracuse University will hold their next meeting on Monday, Feb. 27, at 8 p.m. in 105 Link Hall. SU's Associate Director for Sustainability, Steve Lloyd, will give a presentation on the current state of sustainability at SU.
The meeting will be a "Mug Up Monday" event, which is the group's initiative to reduce the amount of waste generated at their gatherings. USGBC Students encourages attendees to bring their own reusable mugs, cups, plates, silverware, etc. to enjoy the complimentary refreshments and snacks that will be served.
USGBC Students is a "green" student organization based in SU's School of Architecture. Any students interested in sustainable design or sustainable buildings are welcome to attend their meetings.
