Reminder: SU employees asked to review, acknowledge pay notice by Jan. 25
All Syracuse University employees are being asked to go online to review and acknowledge their annual pay notices as soon as possible. We’re already halfway there: Just a few days into the initiative, employees have acknowledged about half of the 14,000-plus pay notices available on MySlice.
It’s easy and takes only a few minutes: Sign on to MySlice, click “View My Pay Notice,” and follow the instructions to complete the simple, three-step process. Those who have multiple University jobs will need to acknowledge a separate pay notice for each job. The deadline is Jan. 25.
The annual notification is a new requirement under New York State’s Wage Theft Prevention Act. It applies to all employees – faculty, staff, temporary employees, graduate assistants and students who receive a paycheck from SU.
To ensure things go smoothly, note the following:
- The University supports Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox internet browsers. Using a different browser could create problems for you.
- Disable pop-up blockers within your browser. You will know you need to do this if once you are on the View My Pay Notices page and you click on the yellow View My Pay Notice button, a thin yellow box appears near the top of the browser window. It asks if you want to disable pop-up blockers. Click on it, and this should allow you to view the pay notice. For more information on disabling pop-up blockers, click here.
