Progressive Cenozoic cooling and the demise of Antarctica’s last refugium: a response to circum-Antarctic ocean passageway evolution

The Department of Earth Sciences presents the fall 2011 K. Douglas Nelson Lecture Series, this week featuring John Anderson from Rice University. His title is "Progressive Cenozoic cooling and the demise of Antarctica’s last refugium: a response to circum-Antarctic ocean passageway evolution.” The lecture will be on Thursday, Nov. 3, at 4 p.m. in room 113, Heroy Geology Lab; refreshments will be served. Anyone wishing to meet with Dr. Anderson can contact his host, Professor Zunli Lu. The University community and public are welcome to attend.
