A Mashable report on ways universities use social media in marketing highlights Syracuse University's use of Facebook.

Syracuse.com announced winners in the Syracuse International Film Festival, which ran Thursday through Sunday.

The Post-Standard Stars magazine reviewed the Warehouse Gallery exhibition of "Colorfonia: New Forms in West Coast Street Art," with its site-specific abstract murals from the California based street artists Apex, Chor Boogie and Jet Martinez. The exhibition runs through the end of October.

The Post-Standard reported that Roy Gutterman, associate professor of communications law and journalism and director of the Tully Center for Free Speech at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, will keynote the Onondaga County Bar Association's annual dinner.
