Syracuse University College of Law is pleased to welcome C. Cora True-Frost as an assistant professor of law for the Fall 2011 semester. True-Frost joins the College of Law from Harvard Law School, where she was a Climenko Fellow. Her scholarship draws from the areas of international relations theory, administrative law and public international law. She will teach classes in international and domestic criminal law, international human rights law and regulatory law and policy.

"I am excited to join the College of Law community," True-Frost says. "The SU College of Law has a rich history in criminal and regulatory law, as well as many exciting programs and opportunities in international law. It is a privilege to help continue its strong traditions and to forge new connections between the SU COL and the international community."

True-Frost has worked in post-conflict East Timor and Sierra Leone and led the NGO Working Group on Women, Peace and Security at the United Nations headquarters. She was also a litigation associate at Cravath, Swaine and Moore LLP in New York. Prior to law school, she taught middle school in Baltimore and Harlem with the Teach for America program.

True-Frost earned an LL.M. at Harvard Law School and earned a J.D./M.P.A. degree magna cum laude as one of two law fellows at Syracuse University College of Law. She was lead articles editor of the Syracuse Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and the Order of the Coif. She was both a Gammon Fellow at Harvard Law School and a graduate fellow at the Safra Foundation for Ethics and the Professions at Harvard University.
