The completed renovation of 601 Tully, a multiuse building across from Blodgett School, is highlighted in a Post-Standard feature. Artist Marion Wilson, director of community initiatives in the visual arts at the School of Education, is founder of the economically sustainable gallery enterprise; Syracuse University is one of several sponsors of the project. Art and architecture students in Wilson's "Social Sculpture: 601 Tully" class helped renovate the building into a community storefront. Fowler high school students also participated. The Near Westside Initiative and Say Yes to Education are also mentioned.
