NBC Philadelphia highlighted that Newhouse School Dean Lorraine Branham was honored at the Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists' awards ceremony.

The Sacramento Bee posted a story on 7-Eleven now featuring the Pepsi Dream Machines that benefit the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV).

Paula Meseroll, director of marketing and communications at SU, was interviewed on Blogcritics.org about the book she co-authored, "Little Hot Mama: The Flossie Turner Lewis Story."

The June/July issue of CNY Business Exchange features articles on several Syracuse University community members and programs. The issue includes:

• In "How Green is Your Building?" Syracuse University's Green Data Center aims to earn a silver or gold LEED rating for the building for its many innovations towards green technology;
• a column by Mitch Franklin, assistant professor of accounting in the Whitman School of Management, about how international business transactions bring with them the complications of international business taxes; and,
• SU students Kerry Maguire, a communications and rhetorical studies major in the College of Visual and Performing Arts, and Aaron Rudy, a sport management major in the College of Human Ecology, were quoted in "JA: Teaching the Ins and Outs of Business," an article discussing the benefits of having the Junior Achievement program in Central New York.
• The magazine also featured several pictures of SU faculty and students attending the 2011 WISE Symposium.
