WOAI-TV in San Antonio (view clip) highlighted the 2011 Veterans as Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship (V-WISE) program taking place in San Antonio. V-WISE is a program offered by the Whitman School of Management, in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration, which helps women veterans launch startups or grow existing businesses. Interviewed in the WOAI segment is Mike Haynie, Barnes Fellow and assistant professor of entrepreneurship in the Whitman School of management and founder/national executive director of the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV).
