SU Trustee Deryck Palmer ’78 to speak today as part of Kappa Alpha Psi’s ‘Road to Achievement Week’
Syracuse University Trustee Deryck Palmer ‘78 will speak this evening, Monday, April 25 as part of Kappa Alpha Psi’s “Road to Achievement Week.”
Palmer, a brother of Kappa Alpha Psi, will address the group at 7 p.m. the Whitman School of Management building, room 002, as part of their business forum. Kappa Alpha Psi was founded at Indiana University in 1911. There are currently 10 undergraduate members of Kappa Alpha Psi on the SU campus.
The meaning of the week is "The Road to Achievement" so fittingly, Palmer will be speaking about achievement.
Palmer received his bachelor’s degree in political science in 1978 from The College of Arts and Sciences, and a juris doctor degree in 1982 from the University of Michigan Law School. He is a partner in the law firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP.
Palmer has served as a member of Syracuse University’s Board of Trustees since 2004. He currently serves as co-chair of the $1 billion Campaign for Syracuse University, leading one of the most ambitious fundraising efforts in SU’s history.
