Staff 2 Staff: Experience an Orange Orators Toastmasters meeting

Join us on Tuesday, March 8, from noon to 1 p.m. at Bird Library (Peter Graham Scholarly Commons) for an engaging activity where it’s SAFE TO FAIL but you’re SURE TO SUCCEED! Toastmasters offers a structured environment that is flexible and focused on
meeting individual needs related to public speaking and leadership. The Orange Orators club offers members an opportunity to present prepared speeches, speak extemporaneously on a variety of fun topics and practice leadership skills such as listening, evaluating, motivating, facilitating and delegating in a comfortable, friendly and supportive atmosphere. Toastmasters International (TI) is a nonprofit
organization with nearly 260,000 members in 113 countries. Since its founding in 1924, TI has helped more than four million men and women develop public speaking skills and become confident communicators at work and at home. Join current members for this special meeting to learn about the Toastmasters time-tested format for success.
