Interested in volunteer tutoring at your own convenience?

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of others? Wish you could do so in the convenience of your dormitory? Have a busy schedule, but still want to help? Join Learn To Be Foundation!

MISSION: To provide free online tutoring and academic resources to underserved communities.
—————————————————————————-
Tutors volunteer their time to help students online through a virtual classroom. Students range from K-8 (as well as early high school) in the subjects of math, language arts and science. We hope to integrate other subjects and foreign languages as time progresses. Tutors have the choice of teaching whatever they feel most comfortable with or all three!

Learn To Be Foundation was started in late 2008 and we at Syracuse recently became a recognized organization on campus both by SU and the main Learn To Be Foundation. We hope to make a difference both in the local area of Syracuse school districts through the Say Yes to Education program and in the United States. Furthermore, as a new
organization overall, we need innovative students to provide ideas and be a part of this amazing movement. We're among the initial group of university chapters with University of Texas and UCLA. Others like Harvard, Northwestern, Cornell, etc. are also in the beginning stages of starting a chapter. Come be part of a change for the better; you
don't have to be a tutor to help out! We are currently looking for students to fill in two open executive board positions–webmaster and recruitment officer–as well as filling in two committees–fundraising and interviews.
