Sustainability networking event Dec. 2
Campus groups/organizations with a “green” or sustainable focus are invited to highlight their efforts, reach out to potential new members and connect with other groups during a
Sustainability Networking event on Thursday, Dec. 2, from 5-7 p.m. in the Slocum Hall Atrium. The event, hosted by the Syracuse University Green Building Council (SU GBC) in the School of Architecture, is free and open to the University community.
The Sustainability Networking event is designed to foster relationships and promote collaboration between campus environmental organizations. Groups are encouraged to reserve a table for the event to have their representatives on hand for displaying and/or giving out information.
SU GBC members will provide food at the gathering – with a twist. “In true sustainable fashion, we are making it a ‘Bring Your Own Reusable Plate’ event,” says Ron Ajel, senior architecture major and SU GBC organizer. “So please bring plateware!”
For more information, and to reserve a table for your group/organization at the Sustainability Networking event, contact Ajel at raajel@syr.edu.
