‘America in the Sixties’ book launch and talk Nov. 9
John Robert Greene’s new book “America in the Sixties,” published by SU Press, will be the topic of a book launch and talk on Tuesday, Nov. 9, from 5-7 p.m. The event will be held at the Onondaga Historical Association (321 Montgomery St., Syracuse) and is free and open to the public.
Greene is the Paul J. Schupf Professor of History and Humanities at Cazenovia College. He has written or edited 13 books, including “The Limits of Power: The Nixon and Ford Administrations” (Indiana University Press, 1992) and “The Presidency of Gerald R. Ford” (University Press of Kentucky, 1995). He is a regular commentator in the national media, having appeared on such forums as MSNBC, National Public Radio, C-SPAN, and the History Channel.
