The Safety Department is offering a six-hour National Safety Council Defensive Driving Course for faculty, staff, students, and the general public. It will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Lyman Hall Lecture Room 132. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a 10% discount on their automobile insurance and the potential of four points off their motor vehicle license record.

The class is limited to 40 students at a cost of $40/person, payable by check or cash on the day of the class. Parking will be available in the Waverly Street lot.
