Hendricks Chapel's Many Faiths, One Humanity program extends application deadline to Oct. 5

This spring break, Hendricks Chapel will continue its tradition of exploring the world of interfaith understanding with "Many Faiths, One Humanity," a short-term abroad program to London.

Participants will explore the rich and complex dynamics of life in a global, religiously plural city. This program will enable participants to share personal experiences, explore historic and contemporary religious pluralism, and finally travel together to London during Spring Break 2011 (March 13-22, 2011). In London, the group will engage the living communities of many faith traditions and life stances and learn concrete strategies for collaborative action. Through the use of video, participants will foster inter-religious dialogue and interpret the experience. Upon returning, the group will create an interactive art installation at Hendricks Chapel that documents the experience through contemplative video.
