Working Mothers Affinity Group Meeting May 26 features Dr. Alice Sterling Honig
Faculty and staff are invited to join the Working Mothers Affinity Group meeting on Wednesday, May 26 in the Schine Student Center, Room 228-A at noon. Feel free to bring your lunch to the meeting.
Alice Sterling Honig, PhD, professor emerita of Child Development, will discuss an action of positive parenting to help your child flourish whether that child is an infant or a teenager.
Dr. Honig will conduct a book signing, in collaboration with the SU Bookstore, directly after the meeting. The following titles will be available for employees to purchase:
1. Little Kids, Big Worries -$24.95
2. Talking with your baby – $16.95
3. Infant Care Giving – $16.95
4. Play time and learning games – $16.95
5. Secure Relationships – $15.00
6. Behavior Guidance – $5.50
Cash, credit cards or checks are accepted and the 10% SU employee discount applies.
The Working Mothers Affinity Group is a group of working professional mothers that meets monthly to discuss the balance of work and personal life. Affinity Groups are voluntary, employee-initiated groups of SU faculty and staff that share common interests, issues, backgrounds, characteristics or pursuits. Affinity Groups enhance feelings of connectedness and provide opportunities for employees to seek and
offer support to one another.
