Protestant Campus Ministry to hold 'Jelly Jam' March 30

The students of the Protestant Campus Ministry at Syracuse University and the State University of New York Environmental Science and Forestry are organizing a “Jelly Jam” in the Hendricks Chapel Noble Room on Tuesday, March 30, from noon-5 p.m.

“Jelly Jam” will bring students and other members of the SU community together to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the Syracuse Rescue Mission for distribution to those in need.

Those wishing to participate in “Jelly Jam” do not need to commit to a specific time during the event. Donations of items such as bread (white or wheat sandwich bread), peanut butter (creamy or crunchy), jelly (any flavor), zip bags and shallow boxes are appreciated.

Those wishing to participate in “Jelly Jam” should contact Interim Protestant Chaplain Tomi Jacobs at 443-5040 or tojacobs@syr.edu by Sunday, March 28.
