SU's Ride Share program looks for commuters to join
Syracuse University's Ride Share program allows University community members to register with Parking and Transit Services and get matched with people from the same area to share the driving responsibilities. It is among the several sustainable transportation services provided by the University to help faculty and staff lower the cost of commuting, while reducing parking demand and traffic on campus.
Parking and Transit Services offers this plan as an initiative that builds on SU’s leadership in promoting environmentally sustainable activity, as well as the University's Climate Action Plan .
Currently, Parking and Transit Services has riders looking for matches from the following areas:
- Liverpool
- Canastota or Oneida
- Hannibal, Fulton, Lysander
- Baldwinsville, Phoenix
- Tipperary Hill
- Constantia
- Fayetteville (Brookside)
- Strathmore
- East Syracuse/DeWitt
For more information, visit the Parking and Transit Services website and click the Carpool and Rideshare Programs information link on the bottom of the home page. Once individuals are registered, Parking and Transit Services will match riders together.
