Student Association announces election debate

The Syracuse University Student Association will host a debate for the Student Association election candidates on Wednesday, Nov.4, at 7 p.m. in Maxwell Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public. All undergraduate students are encouraged to attend.

The debate will serve as a platform for the student body to ask the candidates questions. Questions will also be taken from a panel of media representatives. The SA Board of Election and membership chair will serve as moderator.

Student Association elections are held on Myslice from Nov. 9-12. All SU undergraduate students are eligible to vote for their student body president, comptroller and home college representatives.

Topics that may be addressed at the debate include possible MayFest reinstatement; tuition; student engagement; and future initiatives, goals and objectives. However, all topics of interest are eligible for questioning.
