The Nov. 3 public presentation at Syracuse University by children’s rights advocate and Children’s Defense Fund (CDF) founder Marian Wright Edelman has been postponed to April 2010 due to a conflict that has arisen with her schedule.

On Nov. 3, Edelman will be in final preparations for a CDF-sponsored national rally on children’s rights occurring the next day in Washington, D.C.

The new date for her Syracuse visit is April 6. She will speak at 7:30 p.m. in Hendricks Chapel as part of the University Lectures series and the Syracuse Symposium series, in cooperation with SU’s College of Arts and Sciences, College of Human Ecology and College of Law.
