Center for Health and Behavior announces Fall 2009 Seminar Series on diverse range of health topics
The Center for Health and Behavior (CHB) at Syracuse University has announced its Fall 2009 Seminar Series. The series is part of the CHB's efforts to promote health and behavior research and to strengthen collaborations on campus and within the local community. Speakers represent a diverse range of disciplines and perspectives on health and research.
"The CHB Seminar Series began last year and was well received by both on- and off-campus attendees. We are pleased to continue to showcase colleagues who are doing excellent work in various areas of health and behavior research, practice and policy," says Michael Carey, CHB director and Dean's Professor of the Sciences in the Department of Psychology in The College of Arts and Sciences.
The seminar series is free and open to SU students, faculty and staff; community partners; and the general public. Lectures take place the second Friday of each month from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Peter Graham Scholarly Commons, located on the first floor of E.S. Bird Library.
